Toyo Proxes 4 Review

Always looking for driver input on the tires we sell, John from Florida recently commented on the 215/50ZR17 Proxes 4 tires installed on his SRT 4 NEON.

Very quiet running tire that handled well in the rain and dry, tires have a good grip and the runout was very smooth.

Would definetly buy these tires again.

If anyone else has a comment on the Proxes 4 please feel free to express your experience.

what is it worth to you in dollars and cents to get shorter stopping distances regardless of weather conditions, faster response to obstacles in the road and the peace of mind that you are protecting yourself and or your family?

Toyo UHP Radials

The heart of racing is excitement, the excitement comes from fast action, which in turn is manufactured by a machine capable of insane speeds that produce crashes, winners, losers and lots of fans. The subject if you have not guessed it by now…..is TIRES! The only thing capable of holding these machines on the track, road, dirt or wherever you race, is the tires. Most high performance fans in any sport could tell you a thing or two about tires, but often don’t know why they can do what they do. Here is a little article I put together from Toyo explaining their new generation UHP Radials.

Toyo Proxes series includes the R888, T1R, RA1, 4, S/T II and TPT.

All these center around the performance customer with the T1R having a piece of all of them, making it the most versatile tire available in the lineup with the ability to be street or track. The R888 is mainly track only and won’t wear long if you drive it on the street, but man will it grip a piece of dry pavement when shaved or do equally well on a wet track at full tread depth. The RA1is a great tire for endurance and club racers and you will usually only find them on race prepared vehicles. The Proxes 4 is a great all around performance tire you can drive year-round and they make tons of sizes to fit your plus 1, 2, and up wheel setups. They are great on lowered vehicles with large diameter wheels up to 24 inches.
